5th grade Jasper Johns paintings

Irvington's 5th graders created word paintings inspired by Jasper Johns' artwork! Aren't they just beautiful? They are on display in the hallway near room 108A. You can read more about this project here, when Faubion's students created similar paintings. One of my favorite things about this lesson is seeing the diversity of words the students use to express themselves. No two are alike :]
